A pumpkin worthy of Heraclius' fleet as it takes Constantinople

on this day in 610 he is crowned, again, in the Chapel of St. Stephen

And the Ladies Auxiliary - who had never seen pumpkins - did their very

best to cook these large globes.

The result was not befitting a two-time Monarch and so they all,

wretches, were beheaded, and that is why pumpkins are

not popular foods yet their seeds are highly sought.
